If your vehicle is repaired under Major Guard, you're covered for alternate transportation. Major Guard will pay the cost to rent a replacement vehicle or for public transportation (some limits apply) when:
- Two or more manufacturer's labor time guide hours are required for the repair, or
- Your vehicle is not drivable and must be kept overnight**

Choose the Major Guard term best for your situation. Coverage is offered based on years of anticipated ownership and annual mileage driven. Deductible choices are available from $0 to $200, meaning you can limit or virtually eliminate unanticipated out-of-pocket expenses. Major Guard can be purchased at any time during the new vehicle warranty period; however, the earlier you buy, the better the value. If a vehicle is out-of-warranty when it is purchased, Major Guard can only be bought at the time of vehicle purchase. You can even make Major Guard part of your monthly payment.

Unless required in connection with a covered part we will not pay for: engine tune-up, suspension alignment, wheel balancing, filters, lubricants, engine coolant, drive belts, radiator hoses, heater and vacuum hoses, windshield wiper blades, air conditioning recharging, fluids, spark/glow plugs and wires, brake pads/linings and brake shoes/rotors, manual clutch disc, vehicle manufacturer recommended maintenance services and parts.
